Since 2005, Mac McLelland & Bill Gammie have worked in collaboration to establish the winery and offer a wide variety of wines. The vineyard was planted on the highest point of the farm with a view of Lake Erie. This area was once referred to as "The Pinnacle." The vineyard sits at 834' above sea level, which is 100' + higher than the surrounding areas along the lake. You can actually count sailboats from the deck on clear days.The elevation, along with its proximity of 3 miles to Lake Erie, gives us added protection from spring frosts and allows longer ripening time for our fruit. As well, the rolling land, and sandy loam soil provides excellant drainage and the nutrients necessary for proper fruit growing.

Today, fruit is still grown as the main crop at Quarry Hill and continues to produce acres of apples, peaches, cherries, and a variety of others. These fruits are used for many of the wines that are offered. The Winery also has several acres of mostly (European) grape vines suitable for our cool climate.

The wine bar's kitchen offers a light food menu to compliment the wines Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 12 -9pm, and Sun. 1-5pm all year long. Otherwise, cheese plates are available& we will also be open Tues-Wed. 11-6pm, &Thurs.11am-8pm for tastings and sales through December. WE ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS. We have an underground wine cellar and viewing area for self guided tours. We offer indoor and outdoor seating, a beautiful stone fireplace, a 50 inch HD-TV to view select sporting events, and some pretty amazing views.
