Est. 2005, the winery has offered a wide variety of estate grown wines, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Blaufrankisch, Cabernet Franc, Vidal blanc (used for Ice Wine), Petite Sirah, and our latest experiment Nebbiolo,used to make the high quality, Italian Barolo wines. Additionally, we have a wide variety of fruit wines. The Berlin Heights,Ohio vineyard was planted on the highest point of the farm with a distant view of Lake Erie. This area was once referred to as "The Pinnacle." The vineyard's peak sits at 834' above sea level, which is 100' + higher than the surrounding areas along the lake. You can actually count sailboats from the winery on clear days.The elevation of the vineyard, along with its proximity of 3 miles to Lake Erie, gives the vines added protection from spring frosts and allows longer ripening time for its fruit. As well, the rolling land, and sandy loam soil provides excellent drainage and the nutrients necessary for proper fruit growing.

Winemaker & Co-Owner, Mac McLelland partnered with Quarry Hill Orchards  Bill Gammie in creating a unique winery environment that has the ambiance worthy of the award winning, wines that Mac is known for.

Our wine bar offers a light food menu to compliment our wines. We offer private to semi-private space for rent for your personal events.We also have a barrel cellar and viewing area of the winery for guests to see. The winery offers indoor and outdoor seating, a beautiful stone fireplace, long granite tasting bar, special events on weekends,and amazing panoramic views of the fruit growing all around you. You literally will be sitting in the middle of our vineyard & orchard looking out at the valley below. We offer one of the best views of any winery in ohio as acknowledged by Ohio Magazine!
